Problems of going from 0 to 100 - TechDataTalk #015
Welcome to a new edition of TechDataTalk!!
Yes, this week I am not going to write a “normal” newsletter, the next week I will come back with new content
As I promise last week, I am going to talk about the “problems” of going from 0 to 100 in a very short period of time
I have overcame the burnout that I have had this past 15 days, but until July I am not going to get involved in new projects as I have to finish the exams in the univeristy and I have a lot of work to be done
The last year and a half of my life has been absolutely crazy, a lot of trips, long work days (16h - 18h), lot of training, univeristy….
Eventhough it is incredible and I am very greatful for all these things, It is very difficult to manage certain situations when you are involved in a routine of work, study and training 7 days a week 24 hours a day
What I did (and It is not the best option jaja) was to not think on what was happening and only keep working and thinking in the next “big thing”
The problem comes when you stop for one week and you start realizing how many things do you have in your backpag and how much your life has changed (and how much it is going to change)
Although it is the life that I have decided to have, and is the one I really like, there are some “bad” points that nones talk about
Yeah, a lot of people talk about growing and sef development, but controlling the pressure, managing ego and keeping your feet on the ground, are topics that we should talk about
When you have reached objectives in less than a year that were supposed to happen in 5-6 years, when you have people telling you how good you are(eventhough it is not true) and at the end, you are having “success”, the first thing you have to do is to come back to reality, as fast as you can
Bridging the gap obviously, these are the motives why a lot of 19yo, 20yo… NBA players, football players, boxing champions… get crazy and they end un bankrupt and with a bunch of problems
Thank you for reading these last 2 editions of the newsletter, which has been a more personal ones
Next week, I am coming with new fresh content!!
